About us

Biscuiterie Declercq is a third-generation West-Flemish family business.

The production of our industrial ice cream cones is still based on our family recipes, passed down from generation to generation. Even though we keep expanding our modern equipment, we remain faithful to the traditional flavours.

As an industrial company with family roots we are always available and approachable: we can find the right solution for every request thanks to our flexibility.

Quality

The production of ice cream biscuits takes place with attention for the various quality certificates. We improve the quality of our products day after day. The family recipe, a personal approach, and guaranteed quality are still paramount to us.

Evolution

Continuous innovation has enabled us to grow into a leading industrial producer and supplier of ice cream biscuits. Wholesalers of desserts can contact us for ice cream cones and more, produced according to family traditions.

History

Biscuiterie Declercq is a third-generation West-Flemish family business. Discover our rich history full of innovation and respect for family traditions:

History
  • 1942

Albert Declercq starts as a baker in Roeselare and later moves to Ingelmunster. He starts making the very first ice cream cones as a baker.

  • 1965

Meanwhile Albert's son, Willy, joins the bakery. Together, they purchase their first automatic machine.

  • 1968

The pair keeps innovating and buying machines to produce ice cream cones. Biscuiterie Declercq moves from the Kortrijksestraat to the Vlasbloemstraat in Ingelmunster.

  • 1987

Bart Declercq joins the business. The company switches from a traditional to a more industrial production level with his arrival. Despite the increased production, the company continues to respect the family recipes.

  • 1988

The company is ready for the market of industrial ice cream cones and buys the first machine that can handle the industrial production of ice cream biscuits.

  • 1990

Biscuiterie Declercq keeps investing: more machines are purchased and the West-Flemish company gets a new 2000m2 warehouse and new offices. 2002: The company premises have become too small and the business moves to a new location in Kuurne to produce biscuits for ice creams in a brand-new production hall, warehouses and offices. The business is still based on family traditions.
